When I just started to think about creating and selling handmade stuff I was a bit apprehensive to say the least. I’m the kind of person that needs to know a good amount of information in order to make an educated decision. while looking for answers I came across this wonderful book by Kari Chapin, “The Handmade Marketplace. How to sell your crafts locally, globally and online”. It made me feel so much at ease about opening a shop on ETSY and sell locally as well. I begun last year at around this time of the year. I’m still slowly learning things here and there about the business. but I must say, and highly recommend, this book saved me major headaches and worries.
It has topics such as:
- Branding Your Business
- Marketing Basics
- Advertising and Plublicity
- Getting your Foot in the Door
